India In Last 24 Hours Records 1,035 COVID-19 Positive Cases And 40 Deaths

India’s death toll of COVID-19 cases crosses the 200-mark with 6565 active and 643 cured cases. Union Health Ministry confirms 239 death

 

MUMBAI| In India, in the last 24 hours freshly 1,035 COVID-19 positive cases and 40 deaths were recorded. In the late hours of Friday, India’s tally rises over 6,500 while the death toll crosses the 200-mark.

Following the Indian Council for Medical Research, the tally of the positive COVID-19 has climbed higher to 6,872 in the late hours of Friday. It will take more two weeks to flatten the curve in India suggestion by experts.

Health and Welfare Ministry of India’s website states the numbers are 7447 today morning. The active cases are 6565, 643 cured/discharged/migrated and 239 deaths.

Examining the situation in India, following the data of Union Health Ministry, Maharashtra is the worst affected state amongst all holds the highest number of the novel coronavirus cases in India at 1,364. Following Maharashtra, Delhi is the second with 903, Tamil Nadu with 834 COVID-19 cases. Telangana has recorded 473 cases.

In North India, Uttar Pradesh records 431 cases and has sealed its COVID-19 hotspots. Followed by Kerala with 357 cases and Andhra Pradesh at 363.

Madhya Pradesh recorded 259 while 241 cases in Gujarat. Karnataka and Haryana have recorded 197 and 169 cases, respectively. Jammu and Kashmir have 184 cases, West Bengal has 116 and Punjab has 132 confirmed cases so far.

Until now, Odisha has reported 44 coronavirus cases. 62 cases are infected in Bihar while Uttarakhand has 35 patients and Assam 29. Chandigarh has 18 cases while Himachal Pradesh now has 28 cases. Ladakh has 15 and Jharkhand has 13 positive patients so far. 11 cases have been reported from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands while 10 were reported from Chhattisgarh.
