India Records More Than 19000 Coronavirus Cases, Containment Zones In Delhi Rise

As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare around 3,21,722 i.e. 58.67 per cent of patients have recovered from Coronavirus so far.

 

New Delhi| According to the Union Health Ministry figures, in the last 24 hours, 19,459 cases of Coronavirus were reported and 380 people died. With this, the total number of infected in the country has increased to 5,48,318. There are 2,10,120 active cases among them. At the same time, 3,21,722 people have been cured. So far 16,475 people have died. As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare around 58.67 per cent of patients have recovered so far.

Maharashtra remains the worst affected with a total Coronavirtus toll of 164626. The state’s death tally is now at 7429 cases. The recovery rate in Maharashtra and Mumbai is above 50%. The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation has extended the lockdown in the city from 29 June to 5 July. In Navi Mumbai, the number of infected has reached beyond 5000. At the same time, 194 people have died. Meanwhile, the government has made it clear that the entry of the workers and drivers working in housing societies are not banned.

In Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, door-to-door Coronavirus survey will be done. Such a survey is already going on in some other places including Delhi, Mumbai. A list of the symptomatic members is prepared and then supervised by a team of doctors.

The lockdown has been extended till 15 July in Manipur. Chief Minister N Biren Singh made this announcement on Sunday. According to the Ministry of Health, 1092 people have been found infected so far. There are 660 active cases and 432 people have been cured.

BSF said that in the last 24 hours, 33 personnel have been found Coronavirus Positive. With this, 944 soldiers have been infected so far. Of these, 637 people recovered and five died. There are 302 active cases left.
