Indian Army claims to have sited footprint of mythical beast ‘Yeti’

New Delhi | The Indian Army today claimed to have sited footprints of mythical beast ‘Yeti’ near Makalu Base Camp in Nepal.

Indian Army today posted images of the footprint measuring 32×15 inches on its Twitter handle claiming the footprints were spotted on 9th April 2019. Taking on Twitter Additional Directorate General of Public Information wrote,” For the first time, an Indian Army Mountaineering Expedition Team has sited Mysterious Footprints of mythical beast ‘Yeti’ measuring 32×15 inches close to Makalu Base Camp on 09 April 2019. This elusive snowman has only been sighted at Makalu-Barun National Park in the past.

 

In an issued statement, the Indian Army further informed “As they say nature, history and science never write their final story, the story is based on physical proof. In further added that Army had received the inputs about 10 days ago, but held on to it. We tweeted as we thought prudent to excite scientific temper and rekindle the interest. Some of us who reject the story, surely shall have a definite answer to the evidences.”

According to Nepali folklore Yeti or Abominable Snowman is an ape-like creature taller than an average human, that is said to inhabit the Himalayas, Siberia, Central and East Asia.
