India’s Coronavirus Tally Crosses 3 Lakh Mark, Maharashtra Alone Records 1 Lakh Cases

In a first, India reported biggest single-day hike of 11,458 new Coronavirus cases and 386 deaths in the last 24 hours.

New Delhi| The Coronavirus toll in India today crossed the 3 Lakh mark. With this India is fourth most affected country by the Coronavirus followed by US, Brazil and Russia. Maharashtra which is worst affected due to the pandemic has registered record 1 Lakh cases.
As per the data shared by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India now has 308993 cases of Coronavirus. Out of them, 145779 are active cases whereas 154330
have been cured/discharged or migrated.
The death toll due to Coronavirus in India has reached 8884 . In a first, India reported biggest single-day hike of 11,458 new COVID19 cases and 386 deaths in the last 24 hours.

Maharashtra remains the worst affected state with 101141 cases. Among them 49628 are active cases, 47796 have been cured whereas the death toll is at 3717.
The state is followed by Tamil Nadu with 40698 cases and Delhi with 36824 cases. Gujarat remains fourth most affected state with 22527 cases and 1415 deaths.

Madhya Pradesh: 202 new cases were reported here on Friday and 9 patients died. The number of infected in the state has gone up to 10443, out of which 2802 are active cases. There have been 440 deaths so far. The government announced to open the entire city in Bhopal five days a week. Here the city will be completely closed except for shops of essential things on Saturday-Sunday.

Uttar Pradesh: On Friday, 528 cases of corona were reported and 20 died. Noida saw the highest number of 95 patients a day. The number of infected in Saharanpur district has increased to 270. The number of infected in the state has increased to 12 thousand 616, out of which 4642 are active cases. So far 365 people have died.

Maharashtra: On Friday, 3493 cases of corona were found and 127 patients died. More than 55 thousand infected have been found in Mumbai. NCP leader and cabinet minister Dhananjay Munde was found positive.

Bihar: 148 cases of corona increased on Friday and 1 died. The number of infected in the state has been 6096, out of which 2745 are active cases. 35 people have lost their lives by now. There are a total of 325 containment zones in Bihar. At the same time, 34 Containment Zones were changed to Green Zone.
