Kailash Mansarovar pilgrims to get Rs 1 lakh: Jharkhand government

Ranchi | The Jharkhand government will provide Rs 1 lakh each as financial assistance to pilgrims going to Kailash Mansarovar from the state.

A state government spokesman today said that the decision was taken at the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das. As per the decision, registration of pilgrims would be done by the Tourism department.
In another important decision, the Cabinet approved Rs 750 crore to Jharkhand electricity distribution Nigam Limited for 2018-19 to pay arrears to Damodar Valley Corporation, the spokesman said.
