Modi Government’s Gift To Central Employees, DA Increased From 17% To 28%

This decision has been taken in the meeting of the Union Cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.

Amidst the Coronavirus crisis and rising inflation, the central government has given a big gift to the central employees. According to the sources, the Central Government has increased the dearness allowance (DA) of central employees from 17 percent to 28 percent. That is, a total increase of 11 percent in DA, Aaj Tak reported.

This decision has been taken in the meeting of the Union Cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday.

Three installments of DA of central employees were yet to come. During the Corona crisis, DA was banned by the government. Now after increasing DA, they expect a higher salary from September.
