No more democracy in India says Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi while addressing the press conference on Wednesday said that he will visit Lakhimpur Kheri. He attacked the centre by saying that there is no democracy in India but dictatorship.

“BJP (Bhartiya Janta Party) and RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) is controlling the nation, all institutions are controlled by them, there is dictatorship in India. Ministers are denied entry in Uttar Pradesh as section 144 is imposed but Section 144 only denies 5 people at a place then why are solo ministers denied entry?”

He further said that the nation is being robbed, “All small businesses, farmers and common people are being robbed, Nation’s voice is suppressed.”

He also said that farmers are being killed and until pressure is built by the opposition no proceedings will take place, “Farmers have been attacked by govt, farmers are crushed under car, BJP Home minister is the accused but no action is taken, on the hand farmers are being attacked systematically, first farmers were attacked by reversal of land acquision bill, second three farm laws. Farmers’ rights are being taken away.”

He further attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi by saying that he visited Lucknow but not Lakhimpur, “Prime Minister was in Lucknow but didn’t visit Lakhinmpur, post moterm is not done properly.”

He said that we will try to visit Lakhimpur with two Chief Ministers,” I will try to visit Lakhimpur with two CM I ll try to visit victim’s family.”

He said that Government the is arrogant towards farmers, “Government is arrogant towards farmers and doesn’t realise their (farmers) power, they are insulting the farmers, killing the them.”

He also said that there is new type of politics in Uttar Pradesh, “Culprits roam around freely and victims are put behind bars.”

He said that not all parties were stopped to visit Lakhimpur, ” Bhim Army and Trinamool Congress had visited the site. “
