NSUI Protests Outside Kangana’s Residence

Mumbai : Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, famous for her outspoken statements, is once again in the news. Kangana Ranaut has again given a controversial statement and is becoming a victim of criticism. In Mumbai, the student wing of the Congress NSUI has protested outside Kangana Ranaut’s house and demanded that the Padma Shri award be withdrawn from her. In fact, Kangana Ranaut had said on Thursday that India got ‘real freedom’ in 2014, when the Narendra Modi government came to power, while the freedom that the country got in 1947 was ‘begging’.

‘Kangana Ranaut insulted brave freedom fighters and martyrs’

NSUI people protest outside Kangana Ranaut’s house in Mumbai on Friday. They demanded that the Padma Shri award of Kangana Ranaut be withdrawn for insulting the brave freedom fighters and martyrs. ‘Film celebs didn’t like Kangana Ranaut’s statement’

At the same time, all the celebs of the film industry have also not liked the statement of Kangana Ranaut. Actress Swara Bhaskar shared a video clip of Kangana Ranaut on her Twitter handle. With this, he wrote, ‘Who were these stupid clapping, I want to know about them.’ Filmmaker Onir asked, ‘Will we celebrate a new Independence Day from now on?’ Radio jockey Shaima said, “She is a good actress but I will never see her performance again.”

Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik reacting to Kangana Ranaut’s statement that India got real freedom in 2014, said that it looks like Kangana Ranaut took a heavy dose of Malana Cream. The minister condemns the statement made by Kangana and also says that she insulted our freedom fighters and her Padma Shri should be taken back.

Malik said, “We strongly condemn actress Kangana Ranaut’s statement that India got freedom in 2014. She insulted freedom fighters. The Centre must take back the Padma Shri from Kangana and arrest her.”

Talking about the Country’s Freedom Movement Kangana stated that India got real freedom in 2014. She said so referring to Narendra Modi becoming the Prime Minister. Answering a question on Veer Savarkar, Kangana said the Congress is an extension of the British. The actor said the country got ‘bheek’ in 1947 and the real freedom came in 2014.
