PM Modi Gets Coronavirus Vaccine As Second Phase of Inoculation Begins In India

PM Modi shared the photo on social media and appealed all eligible people to get vaccinated

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the Covid-19 vaccine in the early hours of Monday. According to reports he took the first dose of indigenous Covaxin by Bharat Biotech at AIIMS Delhi at around 6.30 am this morning. Now a second dose will be given to Modi after 28 days.

The Prime Minister shared a smiling picture of him clicked during vaccination in an attempt to remove the doubts of common people about the vaccine. At the same time, he also gave a message to those leaders of the opposition who questioned the process of approval of vaccination and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Appeal to all eligible people to get the vaccinated

Modi shared the photo on social media and wrote, “The rapid work done by our doctors and scientists in strengthening the global fight against Corona is extraordinary. I appeal to all eligible people to get vaccinated. Together we have to make the country corona free.”

Nurses from Puducherry, Kerala administered vaccine

P Nivedita, a nurse from Puducherry, administered vaccine to the Prime Minister. The other nurses present during this period were from Kerala. At the time of vaccination, PM Modi was wearing an Assamese Gammcha. Interestingly, elections are due in Kerala, Puducherry and Assam in March-April.

According to reports, PM Modi did not set a special route to reach AIIMS and chose the time of the morning, so that his convoy would not cause trouble to the common people. PM Modi’s schedule to get the vaccine was not even informed in advance, but the Prime Minister suddenly surprised the people by arriving at AIIMS.

In the second phase, the elderly will get vaccinated

In the second phase of corona vaccination in the country, those above 60 years of age and those above 45 years of age with co-morbidities have been included.
