New Delhi: PM Modi congratulated the nation for achieving the one billion vaccine milestone, “This milestone is a success is of India and every citizen of India, I congratulate the nation on 100 crore vaccine doses, It is not just a number its a symbol of unity, it is making the history, It is a picture of new nation, India is being compared with other nation. 100 crore is appreciated by the world, but where did we start from? research, finding, expertise, India used other nation’s vaccine, that’s why we became successful

He further said that the whole world was sceptical of whether India can achieve the target, “Nation’s capabilities were questioned by the world, India has given 100 crore vaccine for free, World will see us safe from Covid-19 from now on, all world is seeing our potential. Vaccine drive shows “sabka saath, sabka vikaas” .It was difficult for India to fight against Covid-19 but our constitution’s motive is to bring people together.

He said there was no VIP culture while vaccinating, “If Covid-19 does not differentiate on the basis of rich and poor neither should we. Vaccine hesitancy was seen as a huge problem for India but India has shown the world that India is not amongst the hesistant.”

PM Modi appreciated science and research for making the vaccine in India. He said that Covid platform of India has become an attraction point around the world. Medical staff was helped by the platform too. He said, “The nation is happy. There is optimism everywhere. Experts and other agencies around the world are positive for India. Jobs have been given, Start ups are becoming unicorn. Last months initiatives are positively moving forward. Festivals will fasten the movement of economy.”

He further talked about Made in India drive, “Made in other country was famous in past, but today made in India is becoming the trend. Just like Swacch bharat abhiyaan, we need to push this drive and buy local for local. Last Diwali everyone was tensed but this Diwali because of 100 crore vaccine dose there is hope. People are thinking positively about made in India. Diwali brings hope for richest to poor. This success of vaccine milestone has given our nation confidence, now we know get can aim and achieve the target,

He also advised people to follow Covid-19 guidelines and reminded that the fight against Covid is not over, “We have to be careful, we have to still fight against Covid, beware while celebrating festival. wear mask as a habit, people who are not vaccinated keep this as a priority and vaccinated people should also wear it and show unity. If we try we can fight corona together.” He further greeted the nation with Diwali wishes and ended his address.
