Though the event is not as grand as it would have been due to Coronavirus fears, locals and administration has left no stone unturned to make the occasion look like Diwali festivities. Hundreds of diyas were lit at the ghat of river Ganga yesterday night.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend the function today. Modi will first go to Hanuman Garhi. The entire temple was sanitized in view of Coronavirus threat. Security around the temple has also been increased.
The chief priest of Hanuman Garhi, Premdas Ji Maharaj said that it is a proud moment. “We will honor Prime Minister Modi by presenting him a turban and Ramnami patka. He will also be given a silver coin,” he said.
Baba Ramdev, who reached Ayodhya, said that today is a historic day. He said, “It will be remembered for a long time. I was very confident about the construction of the Ram temple. Ramrajya will be established in the country.”
