Two Suryakiran aircraft crashed in Bengaluru ahead of Aero India Show

Bengaluru | Ahead of the annual Aero India Show, two aircraft of the Surya Kiran Aerobatics Team crashed during rehearsal at the Yelahanka airbase in Bengaluru.

 

According to local eyewitness, Two pilots were reportedly seen ejecting from one aircraft. While emergency vehicles have rushed to the crash site. The search and rescue operations are currently underway

The Aero India show, which begins in Bengaluru from tomorrow, will see tight security cover in the wake of the terror attack on CRPF jawans at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir. As many as 4,000 police personnel have been deployed in and around the Yelahanka Air Force. Four crisis management squads have been formed, to be deployed at strategic locations and patrol the designated areas. The crash come days ahead of Aero India show tomorrow.
