Union Minister Nitin Gadkari faints at an event in Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar

Mumbai | Union Minister and BJP leader Nitin Gadkari on Friday fainted during at event in Maharashtra’s Ahmednagar.

The incident occurred when Gadkari along with other dignitaries was standing for the National Anthem at the convocation function of the Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth (MPKV) Agricultural University.

Gadkari suddenly started feeling uneasy and lost his balance and collapsed on the dais. Maharashtra Governor C.V. Rao and some others rushed to prevent him from falling.
The Union minister was examined by the medical team and his condition is described as “stable” by Bharatiya Janata Party.
