Uttar Pradesh: People Pelt Stones On Ambulance In Moradabad, Doctors, Cops Injured

The group comprising of doctors and medical staff was attacked in the Nawabganj area of Moradabad by a mob when they went to take away two suspected patients of coronavirus from the area.

Lucknow| Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has ordered the Police to charge 10 people accused of pelting stones on an ambulance and injuring health workers in Moradabad today.

The group comprising of doctors and medical staff was attacked in the Nawabganj area of Moradabad by a mob when they went to take away two suspected patents of coronavirus from the area.

The stones were pelted on ambulance and doctors by the mob. Police van, which arrived later to rescue the doctors was also pelted with stones.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath condemned the attack on the health workers and assured that strict action will be taken against those who indulged in this act of harming doctors.

He said, “The attack on Police and health workers in Moradabad is an unforgivable offence. The culprits will be booked under Disaster Management Act and National Security Act (NSA).”

He also added, “All the government property damaged by these people will be compensated from them.”

He also directed the district administration to identify such people and take strict action against them soon.
