The novel coronavirus has spread in at least 25 countries causing over 350 deaths, India evacuated students from the virus-hit-Wuhan city.
New Delhi: With the 2019 novel coronavirus outbreak and more people getting affected in China as well as around the world, India has thus far evacuated over 400 of its citizens from China’s Hubei province in two waves. The province appears to be the epicentre of the potential pandemic: the first case of the virus’s infection was reported from its capital city, Wuhan, in December 2019.
The Indian Army has set up the quarantine facility in Haryana’s Manesar.
The officials said the Indians evacuated from China will be monitored for any signs of the infection for a strict duration of two weeks by a qualified team of doctors and staff members.
