New Delhi| Amid the sloganeering by the opposition, disrupting the speech of the Prime Minister, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh condemned the opposition benches. Singh on Monday termed the incident as sad and unfortunate. PM Modi was introducing the members of his new cabinet to the parliament when the uproar began. Rajnath Singh said, “He has not seen such incident in his parliamentary lifetime of 24 years.”
The newly elected members took oath on the first day of the Monsoon session of Parliament when the Lok Sabha began its sitting. After this, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi got up to introduce the new ministers of his Council of Ministers, members of the opposition Congress started shouting slogans. Amidst the uproar, the Prime Minister laid the details of the introduction of the new ministers on the Table of the House.
