Delhi Police on Monday claimed that after the toolkit was shared, Climate Activist Disha Ravi had asked the Swedish environmental activist to remove her post for fear of action under the stringent law UAPA as her name was also mentioned in the document. Police claimed Thunberg allegedly deleted the tweet following directions, and later shared an edited version of the document.
The police also said that 22-year-old Disha Ravi edited the document. According to reports citing Police sources Disha wrote to Thunberg on WhatsApp after the uproar over toolkit. Reportedly she said, “Well, is it possible that you don’t tweet the toolkit completely? Can we stop for a while? I am going to talk to the lawyers. I am sorry but we have names on that and action can be taken against us under UAPA.”
A toolkit is a document listing all the essential information about an event-whether protest or otherwise. Toolkit is not a new concept but in the wake of global protests it is now being used widely.

18-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg shared a ‘toolkit’ to support the farmers’ movement against three agricultural laws. In the document, several objectives were listed, including creating Twitter storms and staging protests outside the Indian embassies, which were created to support farmers’ protests.
The police has also issued warrant against Nikita Jacob- Bombay HC advocate and Shantanu-an Engineer who runs an NGO in this case. The police says they attended a zoom meeting with Khalistani sympathizer MO Dhaliwal, founder of Poetic Justice Foundation based in Canada.
