West Bengal Reports Second Death Due to Coronavirus

53-year-old woman, who has passed away, was a resident of Kalimpong and was taking treatment in North Bengal Medical College & Hospital.

Saurav Tewari| Kolkata| One more death has been reported from West Bengal due to the coronavirus. 53-year-old woman, who has passed away, was a resident of Kalimpong and was taking treatment in North Bengal Medical College & Hospital. She passed away on Sunday morning, taking the death toll in West Bengal to 2.
The woman had returned to Kalimpong a few days back from Chennai. After she felt unwell suddenly, she was admitted to the North Bengal Medical College & Hospital and then shifted to an isolation ward. She passed away in same isolation ward on Sunday. The new death has created a panic in the state of West Bengal as it reported it’s second death due to the deadly virus.
The Health office’s sources have said that the woman had returned from Chennai to Kalimpong. The officials are trying to trace the people she came in contact with and places she visited after returning back to the state.
