With 61000 New Positive Cases, India’s COVID-19 Trajectory Zooms Past 23 Lakhs

Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus patients in the country has crossed the 23 lakh mark. On Tuesday, 61,252 patients were found COVID-19 positive.

 

New Delhi| Dharavi, Asia’s largest slum has been consistently successful in its effort to fight off the Coronavirus pandemic. As per BMC officials, not a single death has been reported from the infection in Asia’s largest slum in the last 10 days. On Tuesday, 24 cases were reported from Dharavi. According to the data of BMC, 2634 cases have been reported in Dharavi so far. Now there are only 81 active cases. 2295 patients have recovered. 258 people have died.

Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus patients in the country has crossed the 23 lakh mark. On Tuesday, 61,252 patients increased and 835 deaths were reported. This has taken India’s COVID-19 tally to 23,28,405.

There are 6.43 Lakh active cases in the country. Meanwhile, 16.30 Lakh. So far 46,091 people have died from this disease.
