New Delhi| The wreckage of missing IAF plane AN-32 has been found. The IAF today informed that parts of the missing plane have been found 16 km North of Lipo in Arunachal Pradesh and North East of Tato at an approximate elevation of 12000 ft.

The IAF further informed that the MI-17 helicopter of the IAF which was carrying out search operation found the wreckage. This is the first time since the plane went missing that the wreckage has been found.
A massive search operation was launched by the Air Force deploying a large number of army and navy personnel. ISRO satellites were also being used to track the jet. The IAF had also announced a reward of ₹5 lakhs for anyone who provides credible information on the missing AN-32.
