Arvind Kejriwal-Led AAP Faces Allegations Of Funding From Banned Sikhs For Justice

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has proposed a National Investigation Agency (NIA) inquiry into allegations that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP government received funding from the banned US-based Khalistani group ‘Sikhs for Justice’. AAP leader Saurabh Bharadwaj has strongly refuted the claims, labeling them as “another conspiracy” against Kejriwal. The complaint received by the Lt Governor’s Secretariat alleges that AAP received USD 16 million from pro-Khalistani groups for supporting the release of 1993 Delhi blasts convict Devendra Pal Bhullar and advocating pro-Khalistani sentiments.
