Assam Floods Affect Nearly 400,000; Death Toll Reaches 37

As of Friday evening, nearly 3.9 lakh people were affected across 19 districts in Assam, including Kamrup, Hailakandi, Dhubri, Barpeta, Nalbari, and Cachar. Though the number slightly decreased from Thursdayโ€™s 4.09 lakh, the flood situation remained challenging. The death toll from floods, landslides, and storms reached 37, with one person missing.
