BJD Announces Names Of 9 Lok Sabha Candidates

Odishaโ€™s ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) announced nine candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, responding to the BJPโ€™s decision to contest the state polls solo. The candidates include Pranab Prakash Das, Lambodhar Nial, Manmath Routray, Anshuman Mohanty, Paradip Majhi, Dilip Tirkey, Sudam Marandi, Ranjita Sahu, and Kaushalya Hikaka. Odisha will hold polls in four phases on May 1, 20, 25, and June 1, concurrent with the Assembly elections.
