On Tuesday, a chemical plant in Surat, Gujarat, witnessed a fire that resulted in at least 24 workers sustaining injuries. The blaze was triggered by an explosion in a storage tanker, with four of the injured reported to be in critical condition.
The fire department received notification of the incident at the chemical company around 2 am.

Emergency responders dispatched over two dozen vehicles to the scene to combat the fire. After several hours of concerted efforts, the situation was brought under control, and fortunately, no fatalities were reported, according to a statement from a fire official.
