Congress President Kharge Criticized PM Modi Over Bjp Manifesto

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, asserting that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Lok Sabha election manifesto failed to address the needs of the poor, claiming that the PM hasn’t accomplished anything for the poor in the last 10 years.

Kharge highlighted PM Modi’s pledges to double farmers’ income, raise the Minimum Support Price (MSP), and provide legal assurances, all of which farmers nationwide have been advocating for. Earlier this year, significant protests erupted as farmers demanded the government fulfill its commitments.

Kharge criticized PM Modi, stating, “The youth seeks jobs. Inflation is rising. He hasn’t addressed these concerns. His tenure lacked actions benefiting the nation. It shows he offers nothing.” He urged not to trust the BJP manifesto.

The BJP released its manifesto ‘Sankalp Patra’ titled ‘Modi ki Guarantee’ for the upcoming Lok Sabha election. PM Modi, JP Nadda, and other leaders launched it on Sunday in New Delhi, coinciding with Navaratri and Ambedkar Jayanti.

PM Modi remarked, In the last 10 years, BJP fulfilled every manifesto aspect as a guarantee, restoring its sanctity.
