Convicted Ex-MLA’s Lavish Roadshow For JDU Candidate

A former legislator, Anant Kumar Singh, popularly known as Chhote Sarkar and a five-time MLA from Mokama, held a lavish roadshow in support of a JDU candidate in Bihar shortly after being released from Beur Central Jail on a 15-day parole.

The event, marked by enthusiastic receptions with dhols, flower showers, and a substantial convoy, commenced from Sabneema village in the Barh assembly constituency. Singh campaigned for the JDU nominee from Munger, Lalan Singh, covering areas under both Mokama and Barh assembly segments within the Munger Lok Sabha constituency.

Despite being convicted in an arms case and currently serving a 10-year sentence, Singh received a warm welcome as he emerged from his car. Slogans cheered him, and Lalan Singh echoed along the route, drawing a large crowd.
