Cyclone Remal Likely To Make Rainfall In West Bengal, Bangladesh Today; NDRF On Stand-By

The Indian Meteorological Department said today Cyclone Remal has intensified into a “severe” cyclonic storm. Cyclone Remal is expected to hit West Bengal and Bangladesh today. The cyclone is expected to bring extremely heavy rainfall and strong winds in areas like North and South 24 Parganas, Purba Medinipur, Howrah, Hooghly districts till Monday.
