Mahesh Kumawat, the sixth suspect in the Parliament security breach case, was apprehended by Delhi Police following confirmation of his involvement in the conspiracy. Hailing from Nagaur, Rajasthan, he arrived in Delhi on December 13 during the shocking incident in the Lok Sabha. Mahesh facilitated the escape of key conspirator Lalit Jha to Rajasthan, participated in destroying phones, and stayed in contact with protester Neelam Devi. Both Mahesh and Lalit surrendered at a New Delhi police station. Lalit’s arrest was officially documented on Friday.
