New Delhi:  Union Home Minister Amit Shah said students can develop an original thought process with ease if they study in their mother tongue language. It will benefit students to study in regional language specially in technical, medical and law fields . So that the nation may utilize the creativity of people who do not speak English.

In order to foster research and invention, Shah emphasized the value of education in Hindi and other regional languages. He claimed that when students study in their mother tongue languages, they can easily generate innovative thought processes.

“Technical, medical, and law all should be taught in Hindi and regional languages. All state governments should take initiative to properly translate the curriculum of these three fields of education into regional languages,” Shah said in an interview to PTI.

Suggesting to students that education in mother language or in regional language is easier and faster, Amit Shah Said “It will promote the country’s talent in higher education. Today we can use only five percent of the country’s talent but with this initiative, we would be able to use 100 percent talent of the country.”

Amit Shah said this 5% comes from an English background, while adding that he has nothing against English as a language.

“It is that ‘maulik chintan’ of a student can be easily developed in his mother tongue and there is a strong connection between maulik chintan and anusandhan,” Shah said.

Speaking of his observation over History education, Shah said he appealed students to “study 300 people’s heroes who were not given their due by historians and thirty such empires who ruled in India and established a very good model of governance.”

Amit Shah said this is the time that people and students study the “real history” of the country.

“Till when we will make a hue and cry about what others have written about our history and distortions in it. Students of our country should research on our actual history,” he said.

Programs on various historical figures and their role in the nation’s development and freedom struggle have been held by the BJP-led federal and state administrations.

The party views this as a component of his ideological exercise to remember the contribution of indigenous persons, including many who were supposedly not given enough credit.
