“Every Soldier Is Full Of…”: Rahul Gandhi Extends His Wishes To Soldiers, Ex-Army Officials On Army Day

New Delhi: On January 15 India is celebrating 75th Indian Army Day. On this occasion Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that every army men is full of bravery, patriotism and sacrifice.

“Bravery, patriotism and sacrifice – every soldier of our army are full of all these. Happy Army Day to all jawans, ex-servicemen and their families for their sacrifice, penance and dedication,” Rahul tweeted.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge too extended wishes to Army Personnels. He tweeted, “Salutations to our brave soldiers, veterans, ex-servicemen and gratitude to their families, on the occasion of Indian Army Day. We are forever indebted to your unflinching courage, utmost dedication and selfless sacrifice.”

On the occasion of 75th Indian Army Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh extended their greetings to all army personnel, veterans and their families. PM Modi said every Indian will always be grateful to our soldiers.

Taking to Twitter Narendra Modi tweeted, “On Army Day, I convey my best wishes to all army personnel, veterans and their families. Every Indian is proud of our Army and will always be grateful to our soldiers. They have always kept our nation safe and are widely admired for their service during times of crisis.”

Rajnath Singh said, “The nation salutes their indomitable courage, valour, sacrifices and service. We are proud of the Indian Army’s efforts to keep India safe and secure.”

Extending his wishes to Army Men, Union Minister Amit Shah tweeted, “Indian Army is synonymous with valour and courage. On #ArmyDay, I extend my greetings to soldiers, veterans and their families. India is proud of our Army for their resolve to keep the nation safe. We salute our Bravehearts and bow down to their supreme sacrifices.”

The Indian Army is ready to meet any challenge at the Line of Actual Control (LAC), General Manoj Pande emphasised during the customary media briefing prior to the 75th Army Day, even as he called attention to a slight increase in the number of Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) soldiers crossing the contested border in the eastern sector.

“Our preparedness levels are of a very high standard. We have adequate forces and reserves in each of our sectors to be able to effectively deal with any contingency,” the army chief said.
