An eyewitness to the Hathras stampede, which resulted in 121 deaths, claimed that organizers and local police were warned about potential mismanagement a day before the tragedy. Pappy Yadav, an event organising committee member, alerted the main organizer and police about inadequate parking facilities and other logistical issues. Still, these warnings went unheeded, leading to the catastrophic incident.
