Indian Navy Saves Hijacked Pakistani Vessel From Somali Pirates

The INS Sumitra, an Indian Navy warship, successfully rescued 19 Pakistani nationals from Somali pirates who hijacked their vessel off Somalia’s east coast. This operation, part of anti-piracy efforts, involved intercepting the hijacked vessel, ensuring crew safety, and preventing piracy’s spread. The rescue occurred approximately 850 nautical miles west of Kochi.
