Kangana Ranaut appears to have taken the parody video seriously and reacted strongly to those who were “cheering this bully.” She said, “This idiot of a man has no shame bullying a poor man”, referring to Qatar Airways CEO based on the manipulated video.
New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut, a Hindi film actor and Padma Shri awardee who is known for her provocative remarks, made another humiliating blunder today, referring to Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker as an ” idiot of a man” based on a parody video clip.
The video was created in response to a Twitter user named “Vashudev” who videotaped himself urging Indians to boycott Qatar Airways in the wake of India’s huge diplomatic backlash after two BJP officials’ disrespectful remarks about Prophet Muhammad.
In the video, Vashudev claims that Qatar had granted refuge to painter MF Hussain, who had “painted naked images of Hindu goddesses.” He claims that the same Qatar is preaching to us about (former BJP spokeswoman) Nupur Sharma’s remarks, pushing viewers to boycott Qatari products and Qatar Airways in retaliation to Indians allegedly being fired in Qatar because of the dispute.
The CEO of Qatar airways now gives an interview to Aljazeera on the call for #BycottQatarAirwaysQatar by Vashudev

In response, another Twitter user created a fake video, dubbing the Qatar Airways CEO’s interview to Al Jazeera. The dubbed segment, which is peppered with sarcastic digs, makes it sound like Akbar Al Baker is personally pleading with Vashudev to end his boycott.
According to the spoofed footage, Qatar Airlines’ CEO says, “Vashudev is our biggest shareholder, with a total investment of Rs. 624.50. We don’t know how to operate anymore. We have grounded all flights. Our operations are not running anymore…”
Kangana Ranaut appears to have taken the parody video seriously and reacted strongly to those who were “cheering this bully.”
She said in her Instagram story, “All so-called Indians who are cheering this bully for making fun of a poor man remember this is exactly why you all are a big bojh (burden) on this overpopulated country.”
“This idiot of a man has no shame bullying a poor man, mocking his insignificance and place in the world…”
Kangana Ranaut followed up in her next story with, “Vashudev may be poor and insignificant for a rich man like you, but he has the right to express his grief, pain and disappointment in whatever context it may be… remember there is a world beyond this world where we all are equal…”.
