Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced his intention to resign from his post. He said the AAP would hold a legislative party meeting to choose his replacement in the next two days. He also demanded that the Delhi elections, originally set for February 2025, advance to November 2024, coinciding with Maharashtra polls. Kejriwal indicated that another AAP member would lead the state until the elections are held.
