Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao has served legal notices to Congress leaders Konda Surekha, Yennam Srinivas Reddy, and KK Mahender Reddy for alleged defamation. KTR claimed they falsely implicated him in unrelated matters, particularly the phone tapping issue. He demanded an apology within a week and threatened defamation lawsuits otherwise.
Recently, tensions escalated between KTR and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over phone tapping allegations. KTR downplayed Congress’ claims, suggesting any tapping was limited to troublemakers. Revanth Reddy accused KTR of admitting to tapping and demanded accountability for past government actions against dissenters.
