Madhya Pradesh: 12 Firecracker Factories Shut After Blast

The Madhya Pradesh government sealed 12 firecracker factories in Harda district for flouting state directions after Tuesday’s blast killed 12 people. The immediate closure across towns like Pipal Pani, Kunjargawan, and Bairagad came amid investigations into the accident that wounded about 170 workers. Officials acted swiftly to penalize and shutter all non-compliant explosive manufacturing units following one of the deadliest such factory incidents in the state.
