Maharashtra: MahaYuti To Contest Under CM Eknath Shinde’s Leadership To Achieve Mission 48

In the run-up to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Shiv Sena at the two-day statewide convention in Kolhapur passed a political resolution with a resolve to fight the general election as MahaYuti under the leadership of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and achieve Mission 48 in Maharashtra.

The resolution was passed a day after Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis declared that the ruling partners BJP, Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party will contest the ensuing general elections on their individual symbols and not on the BJP’s Lotus symbol. Today’s resolution also came after the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar ruled that Ajit Pawar-led NCP is a real political party. Narwekar’s ruling came days after he also recognised Eknath Shinde, who led Shiv Sena as the real Shiv Sena based on the legislative majority.

Today’s resolution also indicates that three ruling partners are gearing up to project themselves as an alliance determined to checkmate the Maha Vikas Aghadi government and thereby win maximum Lok Sabha seats to make Narendra Modi Prime Minister for the third time. It is also to reiterate Maharashtra’s contribution to PM’s Mission 400 plus seats at the national level.

Further, the resolution was passed congratulating PM Narendra Modi for the construction of imposing Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. This is to hint that the Ram Mandir and Hindutva will be major electoral planks to reach out to the voters, thereby exposing the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena’s Hindutva as fake.

The resolution was also passed to hail the development made by the country under the 10-year rule of the PM Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre. This is to reiterate that India will soon become a third economy with a size of $5 trillion, and it will be possible due to a slew of pro-development decisions taken by the PM Modi-led government.

Industry Minister Uday Samant said that the resolution was also passed, congratulating Home Minister Amit Shah for the abrogation of Article 370 and declaring Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh as union territories. Another resolution was passed, hailing the PM’s decision to set up a ministry for cooperation, which will energise the sector in Maharashtra.

Samant said that the participants at the convention also passed a resolution hailing CM Eknath Shinde’s schemes that have led to the welfare of the people of Maharashtra.  He further added that a special resolution was passed, showering praise on CM Eknath Shinde for relentlessly working on the thoughts and ideas of Shiv Sena founder late Bal Thackeray.
