India has completed the withdrawal of all its troops from the Maldives, before the May 10 deadline set by President Mohamed Muizzu, as confirmed by a spokesperson from the Maldivian presidential office. Muizzu, perceived as pro-China, had mandated the withdrawal of Indian soldiers, fulfilling a campaign promise made last year.
