With just a few days left for R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect release, the actor has been caught up with promotional events.

Ever since R Madhavan announced his directorial debut Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, his fans and science buffs have been eagerly awaiting for the film to hit the silver screens.

However, the actor is now being brutally trolled on Twitter after he claimed the Hindu calendar Panchang helped the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to launch a rocket into space and reach Mars’ Orbit.

One user wrote, “Science is not everyone’s cup of tea. It’s ok not to know Science. But it’s better to keep your bloody mouth shut when you’ve no idea as to how things actually work; instead of quoting some WhatsApp stuff and making a mockery of yourself #Madhavan #Rocketry #MarsMission .”

Another said, “To call actor Madhavan’s claims on India’s Mars Orbiter Mission ‘stupid’ will be an understatement; the amount of bullshit he blurted out in a couple of minutes, with terrifying confidence and utter disregard for facts, is of gargantuan proportions. #Madhavan #Mangalyaan.

During one such event, he spoke about the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and their Mars Orbiter Mission. He claimed that it was Panchang, the Hindu calendar, which helped ISRO launch a rocket into space.

Recently,  actor Akshay Kumar was massively trolled when he said history textbooks have only mentions of Mughal emperors and hardly anything about Indian empires.
