Madhya Pradesh: โ€œBesharam Rangโ€ featuring Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan received a remark from Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra about her bikini and certain inappropriate scenes in their upcoming movie Pathan.

BJP spokesperson Mishra, added that if the correction in Deepikaโ€™s attire and the inappropriate scenes were not looked into, Madhya Pradesh government would consider what needed to be done with the movie screening.

Furthermore, recollecting, the minister said that Mrs. Padukone has in the past been a supporter of the โ€œtukde tukde gangโ€ as seen in the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) case.

Mishraโ€™s remarks followed the release of the song โ€œBesharam Rangโ€. He called Deepikaโ€™s bikini โ€œhighly objectionableโ€ and added that the premise of the song was based on โ€œcontaminated mentalityโ€.

This is not the first time that Deepikaโ€™s work has been questioned by the Madhya Pradesh government. Her previous movie โ€˜Padmaavatโ€™ directed and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali mired a controversy in November 2017.
