On Wednesday, the Reserve Bank of India prohibited Paytm Payments Bank Ltd. from taking deposits or approving credit transactions, also known as top-ups, in client accounts or prepaid devices connected to such accounts, like wallets and FASTags, after February 29. This order does not affect the Unified Payment.
