Karnataka MP and Janata Dal (Secular) leader Prajwal Revanna, facing sexual harassment allegations, stated he will appear before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on May 31. In a video message, Revanna asserted his innocence, calling the charges a “political conspiracy” and expressing trust in the judiciary.
The 33-year-old MP left the country on April 26 after videos of him allegedly abusing women surfaced. He apologized to his family and party for his absence, explaining he was in “depression and isolation.” Revanna claimed there were no charges against him when he left and requested seven days to appear before the SIT.
