"Promises Delivered": Raghav Chadha Highlights AAP's Delhi Record

In an interview with India Today, AAP leader Raghav Chadha highlighted his party’s achievements. He emphasized that the promises have been delivered by AAP. He stated that AAP introduced schemes and initiatives over the years. He praised  Arvind Kejriwal for his extensive outreach over the past month.

As the Assembly polls are gearing up Raghav Chadha discussed his party’s campaign strategies. He voiced governance record and welfare initiatives. Chaddha also discussed plans for the next five years, such as the Mahila Samman Yojana.

He also spoke on Sanjeevani Yojana and other promises for Dalit households. Chadha said, “I agree it’s holiday season, but I think with the (Delhi) elections roughly 40-45 days away, political parties are gearing up, particularly mine. We are in the thick of things.”

According to an India Today interview, Chaddha said, “We have built more than 10,000 kilometers of roads. Constructed 38 new flyovers. We have laid down roughly 7,000 kilometers of new sewage and drainage lines. Added 4,000 kilometers of water pipelines. We have given more than 500 mohalla clinics with 9,000 additional beds in Delhi hospitals”.

He further said “We have built close to 23,000 classrooms and world-class infrastructure in our schools. And of course, our main flagship schemes of free electricity and free water have been continuing. So I think we have promised and we have delivered.”

Chadha was also asked about the cleaning of the river Yamuna. To which Chadha said, “Yamuna cleaning requires more work. Taking water to make it 24/7 in all parts of Delhi requires a little more work and time. We have not been able to achieve some parts of it.”

AAP Leader Raghav Chadha dismissed BJP’s criticism as “fictional charge sheets”. On the contrary, he underlined AAP’s success in education and healthcare. He admitted some goals, like 24/7 water supply need more time. He said the pandemic and leadership challenges, including the incarceration of senior AAP leaders, have slowed progress.
