“Rahul Gandhi Could Be A Role Model For Fit India Movement”: Rajdeep Sardesai On Bharat Jodo Yatra

Rajdeep Sardesai, reacting to a video of Rahul Gandhi participating in Kerala’s popular boat racing, said that Rahul Gandhi could be a role model for the Fit India moment among the politicians.

Senior journalist and India Today consulting editor, Rajdeep Sardesai on Monday took to Twitter to laud Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s fitness.

Rajdeep Sardesai, reacting to a video of Rahul Gandhi participating in Kerala’s popular boat racing, said that Rahul Gandhi could be a role model for the Fit India moment among the politicians.

Whether the Cong #BharatJodo yatra has any political impact is unclear, but what is amply evident is that @RahulGandhi could be a role model for a #FitIndia movement amongst netas!! Whether walking or now rowing!”, Rajdeep Sardesai’s tweet read. 

Earlier last week, Nitin Agarwal, social media in charge of the Congress party on Friday shared a video on his Twitter handle. In the video, Yoga guru, Ramdev is seen praising, former Congress president, Rahul Gandhi and listing out the benefits he got as a result of practicing Yoga.  

Congress ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, the 3,500 Km long foot march from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, will today complete 13 days, and is passing through the Southern state of Kerala.

Rahul Gandhi along with his Congress colleagues are covering almost 20 Km a day. Former Rajasthan Deputy CM Sachin Pilot is likely to join the yatra today in Kochi.
