Rahul Gandhi: “If I Speak The Truth,I Will Be Targeted…India Is In Dictatorship”

RAHUL GANDHI PRESS CONFERENCE ...INDIA UNDER DICTATORSHIP
Rahul Gandhi in the press conference said that there is a dictatorship in the country when we raise our voice against inflation, and unemployment in the parliament, we are being attacked viciously.

Mumbai: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi called for a conference on Friday at the AICC in Delhi, addressing the press he said,  “India is witnessing the death of democracy with an onset of dictatorship and those who stand against it are being brutally targeted.”

“How are you enjoying the onset of dictatorship in India?”, he asked the press as he began the conference.

“What we are witnessing is the death of democracy. The democracy which was built in 70 years has been destroyed in just eight years in front of your eyes and all of us are aware of it. Anyone who takes a stand against the onset of dictatorship – be it whoever, it doesn’t matter where he comes from, which religion he or she belongs to, male or female is being viciously attacked, put in jail, arrested, and beaten up.” Rahul Gandhi added.

“Democracy is now a memory in India. It is nothing more. And there are consequences to this. You will see there are going to be devastating consequences to this. Because the people of India are not going to keep quiet,” he said.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, that today there is a dictatorship of only four people in the country. We want to discuss issues like inflation, unemployment, but we are thrown in jail. We are not being allowed to debate in Parliament. The more I speak the truth, the more I will be attacked. But I will do my work, I will talk about inflation, I will talk about unemployment. The more I speak against all this, the more I will be attacked. It’s not just for us. It is with everyone, whoever speaks against the government is intimidated by the central agencies. People are not understanding this yet, but one day they will understand.

“When we had government, central agencies and other constitutional bodies were impartial”, said Rahul Gandhi. With the help of these the opposition stands, but the BJP government has kept all the agencies and institutions under its control.

He said the reality of rising prices and the perception that is created is completely different. He said, for example, that the reality of the Start-up India program is different from that practiced. Likewise, the government’s claims about deaths and unemployment from Covid-19 are completely different from reality. “They lie 24 × 7. There is no increase in prices, China has not invaded”, he said.

Rahul Gandhi also lashed out at Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman when asked about his comments that India’s macroeconomic fundamentals are strong. “The macroeconomic fundamentals you are talking about are something else. I don’t think the finance minister has any understanding of what’s going on in the Indian economy. Zero understanding. She is there as a spokesperson. She has absolutely no understanding for that. ”

He further added, “If she had understanding, we would not have been in the situation we are in. The entire job creation system of India has been destroyed. Small and medium businesses have been wiped out resulting in the highest unemployment. We have a GST which is a disaster. Ask any state and they will tell you  GST is a complete disaster. There is price rise across the board and the Finance Minister is saying there is no problem.”

Rahul Gandhi said, “all the institutions of Germany were in the hands of Hitler. He also used to win elections. Today all the institutions of India are in the hands of RSS. Give me the complete framework, then I’ll tell. We are not fighting with just one political party. We are fighting with the entire infrastructure of India. Hindu-Muslim is divided in the country, then we feel pain and our fight is to create harmony and that’s what my family has given lives for.
