Rahul Gandhi Visits Person Injured In Pahalgam Attack, J&K Leaders

Rahul Gandhi visited the victims’ families who were affected in this terrible incident and visited leaders of Jammu and Kashmir

Rahul Gandhi, a Congress MP, said Friday that the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, was carried out with the intention of “dividing society” and called on the country to unite “to fight this nasty action” and defeat terrorism.

During his visit to the injured tourists at the Indian Army’s hospital in Srinagar, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha urged the populace to maintain their unity.

“It’s been a terrible tragedy. I came here to get a sense of what’s going on and to help. The entire people of Jammu & Kashmir have condemned this terrible act and are fully supportive of the nation at this time. I met one of the people who was injured,” said Rahul, while addressing reporters.

Rahul added, “My love and affection go out to everyone who has lost family members. I want everyone to know that the nation stands with them as one.”

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi met with the injured and the relatives of those killed in the carnage while in Kashmir a few days after the Pahalgam terror attack.

In Srinagar, Rahul Gandhi met with the members and leaders of the party’s Jammu and Kashmir branch. This was three days after a terror attack in Pahalgam claimed the lives of 26 people. The leaders he met also included LG Sinha and the chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah.

He also said, “The idea behind what has happened is to divide society, and it’s crucial that every Indian stands united and defeats what the terrorists are trying to do. It’s sad to see that some people are attacking my brothers and sisters from Kashmir and the rest of the country.”

“It’s essential to stand united and together to fight this nasty action and defeat terrorism once and for all. I also met the Chief Minister and the Lieutenant Governor. They briefed me about what happened, and I assured both of them that myself and our party will fully support them,” he added
