Eknath shinde’s harsh statement against governor about insulting shivaji maharaj for fourth time in one year

New Delhi:  After being silent for three days, a Shinde Sena MLA today denounced the governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari’s comments about Chhatrapati Shivaji. “Send him out”, were Sanjay Gaikwad’s direct order to the BJP, humiliating the ruling coalition partner who has been embroiled in the controversy surrounding Mr. Koshyari’s remark.

“The Governor should understand that the ideals of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj never age and he cannot be compared to any other great person in the world,” Sanjay Gaikwad said. “My Request to BJP MLA at Centre is that the person who does not know about our Shivaji Maharaj the great person and what is the history of the state and how it functions then they don’t have any rights to speak about him like this. This person should be sent somewhere else,” said MLA who represents the Buldhana Assembly Constituency.

Even he made it clear that if they will not take action on this massive statement then might become a big issue and it can create a disturbance in ruling allies.

“Central seniors should take note that due to governor, differences will be created between the two parties,” read a rough translation of his tweet in Marathi.

Maharashtrian and Mr Koshyari’s Statement that Shivaji Maharaj is ” an icon of earlier days” has incensed many since 17th Century Maratha Emperor .

The Congress party and Nationalist Cngress Party’s leader Sharad Pawar and Shiv Sena Party led by Uddhav Thackeray raises the voice against Shinde team.  Thackeray Team again and again using harsh statement against Shinde Team. Because of Shinde Team the Maha Vikas Aghadi Party has toppled earlier this year with the backing of BJP.

A commentary in a Sena mouthpiece Saamna demanded clarification statement from BJP on the Governor’s statement  after it had been opposing Rahul Gandhi’s comments about Veer Savarkar.

“Just like Rahul Gandhi, Governor’s statement also cannot be called his ‘personal opinion’. People of Maharashtra also have a ‘personal opinion’ that whoever insults Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will have to apologize in front of the state,” the editorial said.

Sanjay Raut a big suppoter of Uddhav Thackeray said that this is fourth time that Governor Insulting to Shivaji Maharaj in one year.

“Still, the government is silent. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah consider Shivaji Maharaj an idol and their national spokesperson said that Shivaji Maharaj apologised to Aurangzeb five times. Is this the BJP’s official stand? BJP should apologise to Maharashtra and remove the Governor right away,” he added.

On the BJP side, Nitin Gadkari, who the Governor has named as the idol of recent times while speaking of Shivaji, made his disapproval clear. “We revere Shivaji more than our parents,” he said  today.
