“Shirdi Airport Gets The Night Landing Licence From DGCA Today: Devendra Fadnavis

The former CM tweeted: “॥Om Sai Ram॥ Hat-trick of Good news for SaiBhakts & for Maharashtra! After Samruddhi Mahamarg, Vande Bharat Express,now our Shirdi airport gets the ‘Night landing’ licence from DGCA today! The airlines are expected to start the night flights as early as March/April 2023 onwards”.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis took to Twitter to announce that the Shirdi airport gets the night landing license from the civil aviation regulatory body  Directorate General of Civil Aviation(DGCA).

The former CM tweeted: “॥Om Sai Ram॥ Hat-trick of Good news for SaiBhakts & for Maharashtra! After Samruddhi Mahamarg, Vande Bharat Express,now our Shirdi airport gets the ‘Night landing’ licence from DGCA today! The airlines are expected to start the night flights as early as March/April 2023 onwards”.

Currently 13 flights operate from this airport. More flights are expected to be added now. As the CM, I was fortunate to work on it and start the ‘Shirdi Greenfield Airport’ in 2017 and now one more milestone achieved again by our Govt led by CM @mieknathshinde ji !, The BJP leader added.

Thanking civil aviation minister Jotiraditya Scindya and Prime Minister Narendra Modi Mr Fadnavis said: “Currently 13 flights operate from this airport.

More flights are expected to be added now. As the CM, I was fortunate to work on it and start the ‘Shirdi Greenfield Airport’ in 2017 and now one more milestone achieved again by our Govt led by CM  @mieknathshindeji !”

Earlier this month PM Modi inaugraded a Vande Bharat train to Shirdi from India’s financial capital.
