“Should I Read?”: Watch CM Eknath Shinde Allegedly Seeks Permission From His Deputy

A video of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, seeking permission from Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis of whether he should read from the paper bought during a press conference is making rounds on the internet.

The clip shows CM Shinde asking: “Whether I should read?” To which his deputy responds: “No need to read.”

The press Conference was to condemn the remarks made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Savarkar.

“The citizens of Maharashtra are upset with what Rahul Gandhi said. We will organize Savarkar Gaurav yatra throughout the state to inform about the sacrifice of Savarkar… Rahul Gandhi should go and stay at the Andamans jail for one day if he can,” The CM said in the PC.

On Saturday when Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was asked whether he would apologize, for his remarks on the Modi surname Mr Gandhi told reporters on Saturday, “My name is not Savarkar. I am a Gandhi. I won’t apologize.”
