The political crisis has now gained star struck momentum as actors Swara Bhasker and Simi Garewal shared their piece of mind on the political turmoil.

Mumbai: As the Shiv Sena led MVA drowns deeper into the present political turmoil in Maharashtra, Bollywood actors Swara Bhasker and Simi Garewal took to twitter to share their piece of mind regarding the political earthquake.

Actor Swara Bhasker took to twitter expressing her disdain on the present political storm and questioned the need for electing a government. The actress tweeted saying, “Hum vote detey hi kyun Hain. Elections ki jagah ‘Bumper Sale’ lagaa doh har 5 saal (why do we even vote. Replace elections with ‘Bumper Sale’ every 5 years.”

The tweet was closely complemented by legendary actor and host of the famed talk show ‘Rendezvous with Simi Garewal’, Simi Garewal.

The famous actor and talk-show personality of yore fearlessly declared her allegiance to Shiv Sena leader and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, praising the leader’s “dignity and integrity”.

The actor tweeted, “Because he has no greed for power, he doesn’t play wily political games. It’s rare to find a leader of such dignity & integrity as @uddhavthackeray”.

The political atmosphere in Maharashtra went for a head-dive this week as mutiny was stirred by rebel leader Eknath Shinde.

Shiv Sainik Eknath Shinde accompanied by 40 other MLAs reportedly declared their insurgence from the Sena led MVA administration captained by patriarch Uddhav Thackeray yesterday.

As the group reportedly camped in a 5-star hotel in BJP-ruled state of Assam, hectic negotiations went underway among the Sena, NCP, and Congress leaders in Mumbai to appeal to the rebel camp MLAs at the eleventh hour.

Thackeray who has now vacated his CM’s residence in South Mumbai, has reportedly shifted to his personal residence with his sons Aaditya Thackeray and Tejas Thackeray.
